The Media Arts students at Eastside come from Lexington, KY and three surrounding counties our technical school serves. They are being led on their storytelling journey in the digital age by their teacher, Michelle Rauch. Ms. Rauch spent nearly twenty years as an award winning broadcast journalist and continues her journalism career today not only sharing her knowledge with students, but working as a freelance writer.

Our class blog, Get Connected, hosted by Ms. Rauch is a platform for all of our students to have their voices heard and connect with readers in shared interests.
